RATES AND CANCELLATION POLICIES

Beginner and Intermediate Rates

$21.50/ 30 minutes (4 weeks = $86.00)

$33.00/ 45 minutes (4 weeks = $132.00)

$44.00/ 60 minutes (4 weeks = $176.00)

Payments are to be made in advance of the lessons, by the first lesson of each month. Students will receive an invoice in the fourth lesson of each month. Cheques and Cash are method of payment at this time.

If students wish to pay for the full 15 week semester session in advance, this can be discussed at the first lesson.

Missed Lessons
If a lesson is missed without notice, there will be no refund or make-up lesson. A lesson can be rescheduled ONLY WITH A 24 HOUR NOTICE prior to the lesson. If a lesson is missed due to an extreme emergency, with less than 24 hours notice, the lesson can be made up at the convenience of re-scheduling for both student and teacher. Only 2 lessons can be made up within a semester. If a student has not been able to practice or just forgot about a lesson, this is not considered sufficient reason for a make-up lesson.

What Should Piano Students Bring To A Lesson?
If a student is brand new, books and materials will be discussed at the first lesson or arranged via telephone prior to the first lesson. Please always bring a notebook, pencil and eraser to your first lesson.

Returning students and students who have had previous lessons should bring their music books that they are currently using. As well, any theory or sight reading books. Always have your notebook and a pencil and eraser with you prior to lesson time. The primary goal is to have fun and learn. Being organized before the lesson will help us achieve these goals together!
